NE entrance point of Lallemand Fjord, Loubet Coast, was photographed from the air by FIDASE and surveyed from the ground by FIDS from "Detaille Island", 1956-57; so named because, when the pack ice breaks out to N of Lallemand Fjord, it usually holds for some time longer S of this point (APC, 1959a, p.7; BA chart 3571, 14.vii.1961). Roux Island (q.v.), in error (USHO, 1960, p.370, 1st view).
