awash N of Thanaron Point, Trinity Peninsula, were charted as one rock by FAE, 1837-40, in February 1838 and named Roche Hombron after JacquesBernard Hombron (b. 1800), surgeon in the FAE ship Astrolabe (d'Urville, 1838, map following p.1170; Vincendon-Dumoulin, atlas, 1847, Pl.8).
