Boyle (Boyle Mountains, q.v.); author of Micrographia or some physiological descriptions of minute bodies made by magnifying glass... (London, 1665), which contains the earliest known descriptions of ice crystals (APC, 1959a, p.7; BA chart 3571, 14.vii.1961).
