Rising to approx. 950 m.a.s.l. in the middle of the Milky Way Glacier between Le May Range and Planet Heights, Alexander Island. The name commemorates one of the last dog teams to work on the Antarctic Continent. Working from FIDS and BAS stations between 1961-1994, the dog team ran its last field season in this area in 1993-1994 (APC, 1994).
