Narrative

South eastern point at entrance to Carlsson Bay, James Ross Island. The point is backed by a ridge extending along the SE of Carlsson Bay, of which the lower section contains Cretaceous sedimentary rocks notable for the giant fossil mussels of the genus Inoceramus (APC, 1993).
