Maling (Maling Peak, q.v.) surveyed the glacier; Head, Life Sciences Division, BAS, 1969-73; Director, BAS, 1973-87; Master, St Edmund's College, Cambridge, from 1985 (APC, 1955, p.13; DOS 510 South Orkney Islands, West Sheet, 1963); further surveyed by FIDS from Signy, 1956-58.
