largest and W-most of the Léonie Islands (q.v.), rising to 495m, was charted by FAE, 1908-10, in January 1909 and named Isla Leoni [sic] (Gourdon, [1910], p.129) or IÎle Léonie from a woman's name (Charcot, 1912, Pl.1 and Carte 2).
