SW entrance point of Prince Gustav Channel, dividing Trinity Peninsula from Nordenskjöld Coast, was mapped by SwAE in 1902 and named Längstans Udde [=cape longing], because from the winter hut on Snow Hill Island the cape lay in the direction that the expedition wished to explore (Nordenskjöld and others, 1904a, Del.1, end map). Längstans Kap, Pointe de l'Attente (Nordenskjöld and others, 1904b, Vol.2, first end map; 1904c, map p.232-33).
