Lyon, USN, hospital corpsman and Chief Petty Officer in charge of "Eights Station", 1965 (USGS sketch map Ellsworth Land-Palmer Land, 1969; APC, 1975, p.4; BAS 500P sheet SS 17-20/SE, 1-DOS 1981). Lyon Nunatak [sic] (Sturgeon and Renner, 1983, Fig.1, p.10).
