rising to 425m E of Cape Jeremy, Fallières Coast, was surveyed by BAS from "Stonington Island", 1971-72; in association with the names of winds grouped in this area, named after the marin, a warm S or SE wind of the Gulf of Lyon, France (BAS 250P sheet SR 19-20/6, 1-DOS 1978; APC, 1980, p.4). Cerro Santa Micaela, so called after the transport ship used on AAE, 1950-51 (Argentina. MD, 1978, letter S).
