between Cape Valavielle and Fraser Point, N coast of Laurie Island, was charted by SNAE in 1903 and called McCredie Bay probably after a supporter of the expedition (Bruce and others, chart, 1903a); recharted by DI in 1933 and named Marr Bay after J.W.S. Marr (Marr Ice Piedmont, q.v.) (BA chart 1775, 17.viii.1934; APC, 1955, p.14). Bahía Marr (Argentina. MM chart 117, 1952; Pierrou, 1970, p.507).
