rising to 380m S of Mount Hayes, Mill Inlet, Foyn Coast, was photographed from the air by RARE in December 1947 and named after George B. McClary, of Winnekta, Ill., father of Nelson McClary (mate in the RARE expedition ship Port of Beaumont, 1947-48) and a contributor to the expedition ([in c. 66°55'S 64°03'W] Ronne, 1949, map p.230; USHO chart 6639, 1955; [correctly shown] APC, 1977, p.21). The feature was resurveyed by BAS from "Stonington Island", 1963-64.
