Narrative

NE point of Lemaire Island, Danco Coast, was called Punta Molina by CAE, 1950-51, probably after a member of the expedition (Chile. DNH chart 511, 1951; IHA, 1974, p.202); following air photography by FIDASE and ground survey by FIDS from "Danco Island", 1956-58, named Molina Point (APC, 1980, p.4). Punta Quilmes, so called by AAE after the naval battle of Quilmes (Mount Quilmes, q.v.) (Argentina. MD, 1978, letter Q).
