rock pillar rising to 495 m on Red Island, Prince Gustav Channel, Trinity Peninsula, was sighted by SwAE in 1903; surveyed by FIDS from "Hope Bay" in August 1945 and named descriptively (APC, 1955, p.15; BAS 250 sheet SP 21-22/13, 1-DOS 1974).
