Snow-free terraced ridge, part of the northern boundary of the Two Step Cliffs massif, S Alexander Island. Named in recognition of the geomorphological and biological surveys carried out by scientists from the University of Natal in the Mars Glacier Group in 1992-93 (APC, 1993).
