E side of Lallemand Fjord, Loubet Coast, N of McCall Point, following survey by FIDS from "Detaille Island" in August 1956, was so named from its snoutlike appearance (APC, 1959a, p.9; BA, 1961, p.189; BAS 250P sheet SQ 19-20/10, 1-DOS 1979).
