flowing W into George VI Sound, N of Bushell Bluff, following surveys by BAS, 1962-72, was named after Shaun Michael Norman (b. 1943), BAS Base Commander, "Stonington Island", 1966-68 (APC, 1977, p.24; USGS sketch map Palmer Land (North Part), 1979; BAS 250P sheet SR 19-20/14, 2-DOS 1984).
