in N entrance of Nelson Strait, South Shetland Islands, was photographed from the air by FIDASE in 1956 and so named in order to preserve an earlier name for Nelson Strait (q.v.), probably after Adm. Sir W.E. Parry, RN (Mount Parry, q.v.) (APC, 1962, p.24; BA chart 1774, 14.ix.1962).
