Rickmers (Rickmers Glacier, q.v.), named after Edward Cleland Richardson (1872-1954), called "the father of British skiing" as one of the principal founders and the first Secretary, 1903-05, and later President, of the Ski Club of Great Britain (APC, 1959a, p.10).
