Narrative

N-S pass at c. 750m in Batterbee Mountains between Ryder Glacier and Conchie Glacier, separating Mount Unicorn, Mount Bagshawe and Butler Peaks to E from the peaks bordering George VI Sound. The feature was surveyed by BAS, 1962-72, and named after David Noel Rowley (b. 1937), senior pilot with BAS, 1969-74, whose flying operations covered this area (APC, 1977, p.28; USGS sketch map Palmer Land (North Part), 1979; BAS 250P sheet SR 19-20/14, 2-DOS 1984).
