Narrative

running E-W and rising to c. 700m on N side of Eureka Glacier, George VI Sound, was surveyed by BAS from "Stonington Island", 1971-72; in association with the names of winds grouped in this area, so named from the spindrift blown from the bluff by local wind, when it is calm elsewhere (APC, 1980, p.5; BAS 250P sheet SR 19-20/6, 1-DOS 1978).
