Narrative

rising to 1010m W of Richthofen Pass, Oscar II Coast, was surveyed by FIDS from "Hope Bay" in September 1955; called descriptively West End Nunatak (Anderson, 1957, p.178); later named Target Hill because the feature provides a target on which to steer from the summit of the pass (APC, 1958, p.7; BA chart 3570, 29.ix.1961).
