David Harrison Turnbull (1921-1999), Master of the FIDS/BAS ship Shackleton, 1959-69 (APC, 1964, p.4; BAS 250 sheet SP 21-22/14 (Ext.), 1-DOS 1973). Punta Bransfield, so called in association with Bransfield Island (q.v.) (Argentina. MM, 1958b, p.175; Pierrou, 1970, p.215; Chile. IHA, 1974, p.54).
