This name originates from Italy. It is part of the Italy Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Hill located in SW area of Spatulate Ridge with vertical walls toward SW and NE, sloping down toward Apostrophe Island toward SE. So named for the rock constitution in black and white lines. First observed during the XII Italian expedition (1996-97).
