This name originates from Japan. It is part of the Japan Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A ridge with over 200 m high and 3 km long walls at the southwestern extremity in the Monts Belgica. JARE took air photos in 1976 and surveyed in 1979-80, and named Byôbu Nagaone (folding screen ridge).
