This name originates from Japan. It is part of the Japan Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A round-topped hill (142.5 m) in the southeastern most part of Skallen. First mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37. Mapped in detail (1:25000) from surveys and air photos by JARE, 1969, and named Himi Yama (view of the glacier hill).
