This name originates from Japan. It is part of the Japan Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
An ice fall just south of Isidati Yama, in the southern part of Monts Belgica. JARE took air photos in 1976 and surveyed in 1979-80, and named Isidati Hyôbaku.
