This name originates from Japan. It is part of the Japan Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Two low and small islands in a group 10 km west of the northern Langhovde. JARE discovered and took color air photos in 1991, and named Kaze Sima (wind island).
