This name originates from Japan. It is part of the Japan Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Mid one of three ridges which run parallel with each other in the northern part of Monts Belgica. JARE took air photos in 1976 and surveyed in 1979-80, and named Naka-nagaone (central long ridge).
