This name originates from Japan. It is part of the Japan Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A cirque-like indention just southwest of Tyô-ga-take in Mont Eyskens, Yamato Sanmyaku. Surveyed by JARE in 1960, and named Tyô-no-kubo (butterfly's cirque) in association with Tyô-ga-take.
