Prominent Bluff on Sequence Hills along the western side of the Rennick Glacier. Named by the Northern Party of the NZGSAE, 1962-63, from the extremely bare (of loose rock) and exposed nature of the surface. The party had difficulty in collecting sufficient stones for a survey beacon.
