A glacier flowing from the west side of Hallett Peninsula and forming a short floating ice tongue on the shore of Edisto Inlet, one mile south of Hallet Station, and on the south side of Shear Cliff. Named by the NZ Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition, 1957-58, for Dr R C Bornmann, surgeon and US Navy Leader at Hallett Station in 1958.
