A mountain of stratified sandstone capped by a sharp black peak, rising to a height of about 1250m lying on the north side of Davis Glacier and south-south-westward of Mt Howard in Victoria Land. Discovered by the NAE, 1901-04, which named this feature for the Hon C C Bowen, one of the men who gave the expedition much assistance in New Zealand.
