A high peak, rising to an elevation of about 4000m on the ridge of Mt Wade - Mt Fisher massif, in the Prince Olav Mountains of the Queen Maud Range, about 7 miles south-south-east of Mt Wade. Discovered and photographed by the US Antarctic Services Expedition, 1939-41, on Flight C of 29 February - 1 March 1940, and surveyed by A P Crary in 1957-58. Named by Crary for Joel Campbell of the US Coast and Geodetic Survey, Antarctic Project Leader for geomagnetic operations in 1957-60.
