A cirque on the south wall of the Tucker Glacier immediately west of its junction with Whitehall Glacier. In its floor there is an attractive small lake containing red and green algae, and in the surrounding sunny sheltered rock walls there are some nests of Wilson's petrels and skuas, and abundent nest of snow petrels, as well as running streams and relatively lush growths of moss and lichens. A survey station 540m high is locate don a knob above the wall of the cirque. Given this descriptive named by the NZ Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition, 1957-58.
