Narrative

A glacier descending from the ice-covered slopes of Mts Troubridge and Parker to the coast of northern Victoria Land. This featyre was surveyed in 1911-12 by the Northern Party, led by Campbell, of the BAE, 1910-13. It was named for James R Dennistoun, a well known New Zealand alpinist who was in charge of the mules on board the Terra Nova on her second voyage with this expedition.
