Names that other countries have for this feature:
A dark triangular headland rising to 551m, situated on the west side of Granite Harbour and separated by a small glacier from the north side of Kar Plateau, in Victoria Land. Feature shown on: NZ AntTopo50-MC09
Charted and named by the British Antarctic Expedition (Terra Nova expedition, BrAE), 1910-13. The triangular appearance of the feature when viewed from the south-east suggested the name. "Dreikantig" is a German word meaning "three-edged". Not Dreikanter.
