A coastal range of dark metamorphosed greywacke (contrasting sharply with the predominant brown ochre of the weathered surface of the granitic intrusions forming Mt Kyffin). The ridge runs in a southerly direction from 84°43' to terminate in Mt Robert Scott. The highest point is Mt Kathleen. Named by the NZ Alpine Club Antarctic Expedition, 1959-60.
