Narrative

The seaward cliff at the southern end of Cape Roysds and at the north-western entrance to Backdoor Bay, on Ross Island. Flagstaff Point was charted and named by the BAE, 1907-09, which established its winter headquarters at Cape Royds and erected a flagstaff at this point.
