A mountain, about 2682m high, in the Queen Alexandra Range, rising directly south of Mt F. L. Smith and about 17 miles south-west of Mt Hope on the west side of the Beardmore Glacier. Discovered and named by the BAE, 1907-09, in December 1908. It overlooks the place where Seaman Evans died on Scott's return down the Beardmore Glacier.
