The northermost peak of the Rockefeller Mountains in King Edward VII Land, almost submerged in the ice-cap. Discovered on 27 January 1929 by members of the Byrd AE, 1928-30, on an exploratory flight to this area. Later named for Russell G Frazier, medical officer of the West Base of the US Antarctic Service Expedition 1939-41, and observer of the Rockefeller Mountains Geological Party, which visited this area in December 1940..
