Narrative

Another lobe of the Fry Glacier flowing back into a deglaciated dry valley between Larsen Crag and Flagship Mountain. It is similar to the Towle and Northwind Glacier. The name is both a desciption of the valley and glacier, and also the excellent helicopter support VUWAE expeditions are always afforded, "Gentle" being the code name for helicopter.
