Narrative

Steep rock cliffs that form the S edge of Kar Plateau on Scott Coast, Victoria Land. The cliffs are 5.5 miles long and rise to 600m. Named by NZGB (1999) after Professor Ludger Kappen, Kiel University, Germany, who conducted extensive lichen ecophysiology in the Cape Geology area.
