A group of islets in the Ross Sea lying off Victoria Land, about 19 miles eastward of Cape Sibbald. The eastern islet is high and very steep, the western is low and small. Discovered in 1841 by Ross and named for Lieutenant Joseph W Kay, Director of the Rossbank Observatory. Ross considered this group to contain three islets, but only two were seen in 1924.
