A massive mountain, terminating in a sharp peak, 4069m high, in the Royal Society Range, westward of McMurdo Sound, along the western shore of the Ross Sea. Discovered by the NAE, 1901-04, in January 1902 and named for Lord Lister, President of the Royal Society, 1895-1900. It is the highest peak in the range.
