At the south of Turks Head, on the southwestern side of Ross Island. Feature shown on: NZ AntTopo50-MF13
Descriptively named by Debenham during his plane table survey in 1912, during the British Antarctic Expedition (Terra Nova expedition, BrAE), 1910-13.
