A conspicious dark bluff, lying north-westward of the Beardmore Glacier, at the head of the Ross Ice Shelf. Discovered and named by the BAE, 1907-09, in December 1908 for Colonel I A Maude, who donated the "Maudgee" pony ration for the expedition.
