Narrative

A glacier 18 to 20 miles long and 1 1/2 miles wide, which forms the lower tributary on the northern flank of the Peal Harbour Glacier. Named by the Northern Party of the NZFMCAE, 1962-63, after I C McKellar, geologist and glaciologist to the NZGSAE, 1957-58, which surveyed and mapped in the nearby Tucker Glacier region.
