One of the most prominent of several hanging glaciers on the south wall of the Wright Valley, between Hart Glacier and Bartley Glacier. Meserve East Stream and Meserve West stream flow from the end of the glacier to Onyx River on the valley floor. Feature shown on: NZ AntTopo50-ME09
Named by the US Deep Freeze III, 1956-57, for William Meserve of Waltham Mass. USA, one of Robert Nichols' geological assistants in Antarctica in the 1959/60 season under the National Science Foundation auspices.
