A wide, forked glacier about 9 miles long in its longest branch, flowing south-east, and then east into the west side of Shackleton Glacier from the escarpment at the south-east end of Anderson Heights in the Bush Mountains. Discovered and photographed by US Navy Operation Highjump, 1946-47, on the flights of 16 February 1947, and named by the US Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Master Sgt A V Mincey, USMC, radio operator of Flight 8A.
